As we reach the halfway point of the Australian Championship group stage, we look at the major stats from the tournament so far.
There are three players currently ahead in the race for the inaugural Australian Championship golden boot, with all hailing from New South Wales clubs.
Damian Tsekenis, the son of Marconi Stallions coach Peter, scored all three of his goals in one match - a 4-0 win over South Hobart.
Meanwhile, NWS Spirit striker Aedon Kyra followed a brace against Avondale FC in Round 2 with a goal against Canberra Croatia last weekend to join Tsekenis at the top.
However, Sydney Olympic’s Ali Auglah, also on three, is the only player in the Championship to have scored in all games so far, netting against every opponent he’s faced in the competition.
Below them, there are 10 players who have scored two goals, namely Bruno Fornaroli, who has begun life at Avondale strongly, finding the back of the net against both Canberra Croatia and NWS Spirit.
There have been 56 different goal scorers in the Australian Championship so far, and 75 total goals - an exhilarating average of 3.13 per match.
Group B has featured the most goals, with 22, closely followed by Group A with 21, and Group C with 20, while Group D has seen just 12.
Unsurprisingly, the two top-scoring teams both belong to Group B, with Heidelberg netting a sensational 10, followed by Marconi, who have scored seven.

They are also two of just four sides to concede only one goal in the competition so far, with Bayswater City and Wests APIA of Group D also achieving that impressive feat.
South Hobart has conceded the most goals so far, with 13 across their three games, followed by a four-way tie for second-bottom.
They are also the only side in the competition yet to pick up a point, and, in the overall table, are joined in the bottom three by heavyweights Sydney United and Preston Lions, who have picked up just one and two points respectively.
On the opposite end of the ladder, Victorian duo South Melbourne (Group A) and Heidelberg (Group B) are the only two sides to have a perfect start to the competition, having both won all of their opening three games.
They are followed by the surprise package of the competition so far in the form of Bayswater City, who are leading Group D on seven points.
The Western Australian Premiers have scored just three goals, but have found the back of the net at the right time, earning 1-0 victories over MetroStars and Wests APIA respectively, and a 1-1 draw against Sydney United.
Meanwhile, Group C is the closest in the competition, with the teams separated by just three points, as Avondale currently lead Spirit courtesy of goal difference.
It’s still all to play for with three group stage games remaining for each side, and Round 4 will kick off tonight as the competition’s two top-scorers, Marconi and Heidelberg, face off at Marconi Stadium, with a win for Heidelberg seeing them become the first side to quality for the Australian Championship Quarter-Final.
