Kick off: 1:00 pm (AEDT)

Venue: Marconi Stadium

Marconi welcome South Hobart in the early kick-off on Saturday, after both sides lost in Round 1.

The Stallions suffered a frustrating away defeat in Round 1, going down 1-0 to Heidelberg United.

The side went behind around an hour in, as Anthony Theodoropoulos thundered in a superb strike for Bergers.

Marconi failed to capitalise on several chances after conceding, ultimately succumbing to defeat.

South Hobart also tasted defeat in the opening round, going down 3-1 to Wollongong Wolves at home.

In the first half, they quickly responded to going behind, courtesy of a well-taken effort from Austin Yost.

Two second-half goals, including Kazuya Yamamura’s wonder strike, took the game away from the home side.

Despite the result, South Hobart caused Wollongong plenty of problems throughout the match and will be hoping to compound Marconi’s stuttering start.

When the teams met in the 2019 Australia Cup Round of 32, the travelling Stallions flexed their muscles with a commanding 3-0 win.

After defeats in their opening matches, these teams' pursuit of three points on Saturday takes on increased importance.

Wollongong Wolves v Heidelberg United

Watch live on SBS and SBS On Demand.

Kick off: 3:15 pm (AEDT)

Venue: Collegians Sports Centre

Two winners from Round 1 are in action in the late kick-off on Saturday.

Wollongong saw off a spirited South Hobart outfit in a 3-1 win in the opening round.

Alex Masciovecchio put the Wolves in front, but they were quickly pegged back to go into the sheds level in Tasmania.

On-debut midfielder Kazuya Yamamura scored arguably the goal of the tournament so far with an audacious long-range stunner to put the side back into the lead.

Thomas James had a special return for the Wolves, bagging a stoppage-time goal to add to his assist in the victory over South Hobart.

Heidelberg also made a winning start to the Championship, with a narrow victory against Marconi.

Anthony Theodoropoulos buried an arrow-accurate strike in the second half to help Bergers past a tricky Marconi performance.

Victory for Heidelberg would take the Hahn Australia Cup Finalists ahead of Wollongong to the top of Group B, but Wollongong would extend their lead at the top if they secure a win.
