Australian Championship Quarter Final Match Schedule Confirmed

The path to the inaugural Australian Championship title is now set, with all eight Quarter Finalists confirmed following a compelling conclusion to the group stage on Sunday evening.

The Quarter Final lineup features South Melbourne FC (Football VIC) and Moreton City Excelsior FC (Football QLD) from Group A, Heidelberg United FC (Football VIC) and Marconi Stallions FC (Football NSW) from Group B, Avondale FC (Football VIC) and NWS Spirit FC (Football NSW) from Group C and Wests APIA FC (Football NSW) and MetroStars (football SA) from Group D.

The group stage delivered high-quality football across the country, with clubs battling through six hard-fought rounds to secure their place in the knockout stage. The opening phase produced competitive matches, late drama and plenty of attacking moments, with over 150 goals scored across the competition setting the tone for an exciting first edition of the Championship as the tournament now shifts into the final stages.

Quarter Final hosting rights have been determined by group-stage performance, with all four group winners earning the right to host their respective knockout fixtures.

The Quarter Finals begin under lights on Friday night with a blockbuster clash between long-standing rivals Wests APIA FC and Marconi Stallions FC. Super Saturday sees two Victorian hosts in action, with Moreton City Excelsior FC travelling south to face Avondale FC, before Heidelberg United FC continue their impressive 2025 campaign when they welcome MetroStars in the afternoon. The weekend concludes on Sunday as South Melbourne FC host NWS Spirit FC, rounding out a thrilling three days of knockout football.

The four winners will then progress to the Semi Finals, scheduled for 29–30 November, with match details to be confirmed after the Quarter Finals. The Semi Final winners will advance to the inaugural Australian Championship Final on Saturday, 6 December, with the venue, ticketing and kick-off time to be announced following the Semi Finals.
